The FC-II is a battery powered, compact volume converter for gas flow measurementapplications. Applications are with gas flow meters like, turbine meters, rotarypiston meters. The converter uses volume pulses generated by a gas meter, measurespressure and temperature, and calculates the compressibility factor Z ofthe gas as well as the conversion factor C. From those input values it calculatesthe volume at base conditions, the base flow rate and the actual flow rate. TheFC-II is equipped with a low power pressure transmitter and a temperature sensor.This equipment is supplied integrally with the converter. The volume measuredat actual conditions is converted to volume at base conditions
